Interesting discovery

There is a photo that I took in a Japanese restaurant , it is the menu of that shop . In the page which shows different kinds of ramen , it uses a term
ラーメン屋 (which mixed up from katakana and chinese) as the title. Using a katakana words to present the dishes , I think the main reason of using katakana due to the popularity of Japan.

In Hong Kong, Japanese products are very popular and famous .Most people agree that all those products have a good quality and safe. Teenagers (such as myself) are easily attracted by Japanese , that's the reason why many shops started to use Japanese for replacing chinese or english. Also ,Hong Kong is a famous city for the tourism , use different lanugage in the menu are more convenience for the foreigners.

Hong Kong teenagers do love Japanese popluar culture especially fashion and anime.
Therefore, many shops are using Japanese characters as their name to attract teenagers.
